The Ones to Watch community is involving by now about 40 representatives from ten EU member states.
Within the framework of FEPS, the herewith created network meets two to three times per year – each session of which takes place in a different capital from within the region and is organised with the support of the FEPS member foundation in there.
The programmes of these seminars are composed of three building blocks, which envisage meeting with the stakeholders and politicians of the country where the event takes place; internal work in the thematic ad hoc working groups (i.e. discussing the state of healthcare policies in the region) and the cultural activity (which is defined by partners at the spot – and vary from visiting an environmental waste plant in Prague, through visits to the Polish Jewish History Centre in Warsaw and Institute of Political History in Budapest; a visit and lecture on the history of Bulgarian parlamentarism in Sofia; and field trip to see most successful examples of local policies and projects, as developed with the EU funds in two cities of Slovenia).
