Vincent DUCLERT
Vincent Duclert, historian, teaches at Sciences Po as an associate university professor and at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales where he is a researcher at the Centre d’études sociologiques et politiques Raymond-Aron. He is also Inspector General of the French Ministry of Education. He is the author of L’avenir de l’histoire (Armand Colin, 2010) and La République imaginée. La France de 1970 à 1914 (Belin, 2010). In 2013 he published Jean Jaurès. La politique et la légende (Autrement) and Réinventer la République. Une constitution morale (Armand Colin), in 2014 a reference biography of Jean Jaurès with Gilles Candar (éditions Fayard), and in 2015 La France face au génocide des Arméniens. At the Fondation Jean-Jaurès, he chairs the research mission on history museums in France and Europe. Between 2001 and 2006, together with Alain Chatriot, he led a research programme at EHESS on scientific policies in France, from Pierre Mendès France to De Gaulle.
