Péter Niedermüller is a Member of the European Parliament, Treasurer and Vice-President of the Progressive Alliance of Socialist and Democrats. He is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), where he is engaged in issues of human rights, fundamental rights, rule of law and migration, a member of the Delegation for relations with Israel, and the Special Committee on Terrorism. Mr. Niedermüller previously worked as a university professor, teaching ethnology and cultural anthropology at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
