Nicole-Marie Meyer, a former diplomat and whistleblower, has been an expert for Transparency International (International Secretariat) since 2009. She has contributed to the international principles for whistleblower legislation (TI, 2009). She is the author of the 2012 Transparency International report on whistleblowing in France, co-author of the Whistleblowing in Europe comparative report (TI, 2013). She has also been consulted by the European Ombudsman, the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the European Commission in relation to resolutions, reports, draft directives and ethical alert mechanisms.
