In order to give you access to our events, FEPS processes your personal data together with any other organiser of this event mentioned in the description of the event and in accordance with 'FEPS’ data protection policy.

This event is the second one of the initiative Challenges for Social Democracy. Following the event in Włocławek, it is now time for Kielce. On 30 June, the topics of the Future of Work and Work-Life Balance will be discussed with Polish and international guests and politicians.

The concept is designed to improve the programmatic debate on the Centre-Left in Poland, enable the exchange of best practices and provide high-quality training. All of these are essential contributions to strengthening progressive forces, and by extension, to providing a further boost to the discussion about alternatives and ways of improving deliberative democracy in the country.

Kielce has been chosen for the event as it is a leading city with progressive forces in the local government. Amongst many projects, the city introduced an in-vitro project a few years ago, just after the current government cut the national programme. Thanks to the city’s constant modernisation, development and growth, Kielce is on top of the list when it comes to keeping unemployment levels low.

Among the speakers:

  • Andrzej Szejna, VP of Nowa Lewica, VP of PES
  • Matthieu Hornung, PES Group in the European Committee of the Regions
  • Bartosz Rydliński, Centrum Ignacego Daszyńskiego
  • Marcin Chłodnicki, VP of Kielce
  • Aleksandra Iwanowska, International Secretary of Federacja Młodych Socjaldemokratów, Bureau Member of Young European Socialists and FEPS Trainee
  • Kamila Jarońska, Razem
  • Katarzyna Kotula, MP Nowa Lewica
  • Kacper Krakowiak, President of Federacja Młodych Socjaldemokratów
  • Małgorzata Marenin, Agent for Equal Treatment of Skarżysko-Kamienna’s President, member of Council for All-Poland Women’s Strike Foundation
  • Henryk Milcarz, VP of Świętokrzyskie Sejmik
  • Katarzyna Ueberhan, MP Nowa Lewica
