Does your heart beat for progressive values? Is your mind set on European perspectives, and you are actively engaged in politics at the local or regional level?

Our latest #ProgressiveSpeakUpSchool took place on Thursday 4 –  Friday 5 April, 2024 in Portimão, Portugal. We delved into the pressing issue of housing – a critical challenge facing citizens, cities, and regions across Europe. This event, co-organised by the PES Group in the European Committee of the Regions, FEPS and partners, offered a transformative experience like no other, one that empowered participants to address the housing crisis politically and strategically. Additionally, we also considered its significance in the context of the upcoming EU elections.

The fifth edition of the #ProgressivesSpeakUp: School of young local and regional politicians, took place in the framework of the PES Group in the European Committee of the Regions’ extraordinary Group meeting on ‘Housing for all: Progressive cities and regions building the future of housing policy‘, which took place in Portimão, Portugal, on Friday 5 April 2024 from 9:00 to 16:30.
